I have been moved, inspired and changed by the insights and feelings brought forward by The Work That Reconnects workshop with Jeannette McCullough. She is a skilled and wise facilitator who creates a safe yet focused space that allows participants to drop deeply into themselves and connect with one another and the earth in a profound way. I don’t think it’s possible to come out of one of her workshops untransformed in some small or large way for the betterment of the planet. M.V. Elementary School Teacher
Jeannette is a natural in this deeply meaningful work. Her experience and care allow her to do this work with ease and competence. She brings a greatly acknowledged wealth of spirit, knowing and meaning. I especially enjoyed her facilitation of and participation in Corbett. D.G. Transpersonal Psychotherapist
The Work That Reconnects does exactly that……reconnecting me to my passion about the earth and deepening my understanding of my part in all that is happening now. The range of different approaches through various exercises, some solo work, some partner work, some small group work, helps to make me appreciate how much diversity there is in everybody’s feelings and how many ways there are to reconnect. This is invaluable work. Jeannette’s skillful, light-hearted, yet focused facilitation makes for a very safe container for tremendous depth. I have learned things about my soul’s purpose through two sessions that I could probably have not come to on my own. I also appreciate that this work meets people at very different stages of their life journey with a commonality of heart and shared sense of purpose. A. M. Intuitive Reader
Thank you for leading us in such a thoughtful and beautifully transitional day, from gratitude to mourning, to messages and resolution, or at least the roots of new resolutions. Ask for help. That was an important message for me to receive from Gaia! Not a habit I have. I’m very grateful and was very touched by the work. To the earth and tomorrow’s children. E.H. This from a blog entry of one participant: On Saturday March 21, a group of us came together to step into what is referred to as “The Work That Reconnects,” based on processes developed over the last few decades by Joanna Macy and others. Jeannette McCullough led us into and through our time together. In the course of that time a poem came through me:
from big bang to tolling bell; what happened in between? from blue-green algae to killing machine; what happened in between? from “let there be light” to “drop the bomb”; what happened in between? did we take our divinity too seriously? in that case, let my divinity come out and play. let something happen in between despair and hope; let something happen in between inertia and action; let something happen in between gaiacide and biophilia; let me be that something even if I don’t yet know what that is.
It was a beautiful day. It takes great care, consciousness and presence to host such a paradoxical experience of shaking up and reassurance, and Jeannette did so with tremendous grace. If you’re ever able to participate with Jeannette in one of these precious immersions, do! James Wells Tarot Reader, Reiki Master and Teacher, Motivational Listener
